ABOUT US
Our mission
The Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough is a diverse group of business and civic leaders, and citizens who embrace the Rotary's primary motto of Service Above Self by being a resource for the community, local service organizations, and international humanitarian projects. We focus on these four basic human needs in our local community:
Food sufficiency
Home safety
Seniors service
Youth service
Our club is committed to making a difference in the lives of people locally and worldwide, and provides vast opportunities for personal and professional growth through leadership training, and fellowship opportunities.
We adhere to Rotary International's Four-Way Test in all the things we think, say, or do:
Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
At the behest of one of our founding members, the late Bud Flannery, adds a Fifth Test:
Are we having fun?
