Rotary Youth Ambassadors

This program is open to all Acton and Boxborough High School incoming Juniors and Seniors at ABRHS, vocational schools, private schools, charter schools and homeschoolers.

The mission of the Rotary Youth Ambassador program is to provide a community service, learning and leadership development opportunity for High School Juniors and Seniors who are committed to making a difference in the community. Working alongside Rotarians, candidates will be inspired to take on key youth leadership roles in our community service events or projects.

By becoming a Rotary Youth Ambassador, candidates will:

  • Provide service to the club by participating at our community events or projects

  • Earn a letter of recognition from the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough after completion of 5+ hours of service presented at a Rotary Club meeting during the year

  • After 10+ hours of service have an opportunity to be the recipient of a $500 award. This award is given to only one selected Rotary Youth Ambassador at the end of the Rotary year in June at a club meeting.

Completing the Application:

To complete an application, click on the link RYA application and RYA consent and printout and complete the forms.

The completed application and consent form can be submitted to Melissa Dempsey in the ABRHS guidance department or mailed to Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough, P.O. Box 2161, Acton, MA 01720, attention: RYA Chair

Once submitted, your application will be considered for all of our family friendly events during the year, like the Senior BBQ, Veteran’s Breakfast, Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging event among others.
