Interact Clubs

Rotary Sponsors Youth Service Club for all Students
The Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough sponsors the Interact Service Club at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton, MA. Interact Clubs are service clubs open to all students 12-18 years old. While the Rotary Club will provide

guidance, the students are responsible for running all the fun and meaningful service oriented activities and projects.  Interactors develop leadership skills while meeting new friends and making a difference in their community and the world.

The word Interact stands for “international action,” and today nearly 200,000 students in more than 110 countries belong to some 8,700 clubs, making Interact a truly international phenomenon. All over the world, young people are spreading fellowship and international understanding through a wide array of Interact service projects and activities.  An Interact club’s service projects are designed to improve the quality of life at home and abroad. These projects often address today’s most critical issues, such as violence, drug abuse, AIDS, hunger, the environment and illiteracy.
